We’ll investigate the accident by speaking with all parties involved and gathering other important information, such as obtaining a police report, assessing vehicle damages, and talking to witnesses.
Your claims representative will review applicable coverages, if available, and take the time to explain the next steps. We’ll then determine how best to get things back to where they were as quickly as possible.
If someone involved in the accident is injured, we’ll determine potential coverage for the injury and work with the injured party to gather medical bills and records.
Cooperation from the parties involved is critical to resolving a claim, so please work with your claims representative to provide the information they need.

Get yourself to a safe area. If your vehicle is drivable, move it out of traffic.

Collect the following information:
Names, phone numbers, and insurance providers and policy number of other drivers involved.
