  • Brakes: Hand and foot breaks are required.

  • Muffler: An adequate exhaust system is required for bikes in Vermont.

  • Passengers: If you carry a passenger, your bike must have a permanent seat and hand holds for the passenger.

  • Safety Inspection: You’ll need to have your motorcycle inspected every year, and the inspection decal must be placed on the left outer side of the windscreen, the left front fork leg, or a metal tag attached to the left side of the frame.
